Café Forum Box

Forum Box serves as the official coffee point of the Lux Helsinki light art festival! A pop-up café, built in the foyer of the art gallery for the duration of Lux, will serve refreshments, hot drinks and small snacks to art lovers. Everything is vegan and gluten-free. Note! Please ask separately for a vegan version of the hot chocolate.

The café is open on Friday, Jan 9, from 5–10 pm, and Sat–Sun, Jan 10–11, all day from 12–10 pm.

As part of the Lux Galleries programme of the Lux Helsinki festival, Milla-Kariina Oja’s moving image work Terra Continuum (2025) will be presented on the façade of Forum Box. The work will be on view from 6–11 January 2026, daily from 5–10 pm.

At the same time, Nestori Syrjälä’s exhibition will be on display in Forum Box and Sini Pelkki’s work Present will be on display in Mediabox. The gallery is open during Lux week from 12–10 pm. Our accessibility information can be found here.
