Forum Box Intervention Workshop
James Thompson
Exchange Surfaces: Forum Box
Join artist James Thompson in the co-creation of a live intervention at Forum Box from 12–5pm on Saturday 14 March. Visitors are invited to make and exchange impressions of the gallery’s architecture across various media and to share their own memories of the space, generating a live archive and an evolving collective experience of the gallery throughout the day.
A participatory live intervention within Forum Box that generates multilayered documentation of the gallery through a series of recording processes, collectively revealing traces of its past etched into the fabric of the building and held in memory. The emerging live archive captures Forum Box at a significant moment in its history and explores exchange as a way of sharing understandings and opening dialogues.
