Marcel
A mourning-like video portrays the artist wearing a bright blue gymnastic suit. Pink balls appear around her body and little by little almost cover her. The image turns into a double mirror reflection. In the soundtrack, we can hear the bereft sound of a shakuhachi flute. The video ends with the artist’s face wiped with black feathers.
Sinisukka 1948
A child’s hands play with a small lizard. A woman’s fingers are masked as blue stockings. First, they caress thick dark hair. Then the blue stockings perform a mysterious choreography on a looking glass.
Angelo
A scrutiny on choreography from an unusual perspective. The video begins with a sequence where a pair of shoes is painted yellow. Then a found film footage takes us to a game of musical chairs. One of us always falls in the empty gap. Rest of the video documents a dance on a glass plate, shot from beneath the legs.
