LINDA ROSCHIER
Linda Roschier (b.1979) is a painter whose artistic practice is situated in the expanded field of painting.
Roschier has exhibited her works in Finland and internationally, and her works are included in public and private collections. She graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2020 and a Master of Arts from Aalto University in 2009.
For Roschier, painting acts as a passage between the self and the other, the visible and the invisible, and the present and the timeless. In recent years, her work has emphasized the idea of the ability of plant seeds to shape the landscape, and their parallelism with painting as a time-traveling, fragile and powerful object. Like souls, objects and materials also seem to have their own paths from the invisible to the visible.
TOMMI PASANEN
Tommi Pasanen (b.1995, Oulu) is a painter who graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki in 2024. Pasanen’s works deal with the passage of time and the traces it leaves. In his works, he focuses on the traditional elements of painting, but rather builds than paints his compositions. Pasanen’s works have been acquired by, among others, the Aine Art Museum, the Finnish Art Association and the State Fine Arts Commission.
HEMMO SIPONEN
Hemmo Siponen (b.1991, Helsinki) is a visual artist from Helsinki. He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki in 2019. He works with watercolor painting.
Siponen’s most recent exhibition, Horros, was at the K17 art and ecology experimental space in Nikkilä in December-January 2025-26, together with Kati Ruohomäki. Before this, he has had solo exhibitions at Galerie Pleiku in Berlin (2025), tm gallery (2023), gallery Sinne (2021) and HAM gallery (2020) in Helsinki. His works were included in a group exhibition at Schwarz Contemporary in Berlin in 2022.
