We want to promote equality and diversity in our own activities and in society at large. Our values are artistic freedom, communality and diversity. Art and culture belong to everyone, and we invite all kinds of visitors to our safe and welcoming space to enjoy art in an equal way.
There is always free admission to Forum Box exhibitions. Our staff are here to assist visitors, and are happy to help with accessibility issues and to tell you more about the exhibitions.
In June, Forum Box will have exhibitions by Reima Hirvonen, Ninni Luhtasaari and Timo Tähkänen, as well as a media art work Darker Tones by the MSL (Jade Kallio & Antti Jussila). The exhibitions explore issues such as embodiment, shame and gender, each from their own perspective. The exhibitions’ distinctive worlds engage in dialogue: sensitivity meets crudeness, and shy thought creeps alongside loud protest.
