Hitchcock’s Hidden Paintings
5.9.2024 | 18:00-19:00 | Forum Box
Alfred Hitchcock hid works of art in his films even more thoroughly than his well-known Cameos. Although the director didn’t directly talk about it, he was constantly inspired by visual artists: “I would compare myself to an abstract painter” – after all, he was originally a graphic artist.
Welcome to listen to architect Juhani Pallasmaa‘s lecture on Hitchcock’s relationship with the visual arts.
The lecture is in English. Free entry!
The lecture is part of the program of Helsinki Design Week.
